Cornerstone Plugin Update Causes Full Website Crash

Updating Cornerstone triggers the attached error across my entire website

Reverting to a previous version fixes the issue

Any idea?

It says "Fatal error: Call to undefined method Cornerstone_Plugin::get_registry() in filepath/wp-content/plugins/cornerstone/includes/classes/elements/class-element-manager.php on line 65

Hey,

You need to check these things:

  1. Disable all the plugins to check if some are conflicting.
  2. Ensure if you updated the theme and the Cornerstone.
  3. Did you add some custom code recently? If yes, remove it.

No custom code, and I can’t even update the theme or Cornerstone because the error triggers every time I do

Hi there,

Please login to FTP and go to wp-content/plugins then delete the cornerstone directory that is in there.

Once it’s deleted, log back in to Wordpress and try to install and enable Cornerstone again in the X > Overview page.

Let us know how it goes.
