Cornerstone not working in pro

Hi! Recently my x theme pro editor has stopped working. The editor only shows the header and footer of every page. The content can be seen in the sidebar but not the main editor. Thanks for your help!

Your site is not accessible. Please check.

For the meantime, please do the following:

  1. Ensure everything is up to date according to our version compatibility list at https://theme.co/apex/forum/t/troubleshooting-version-compatibility/195. Please follow the best practices when updating your theme and plugins. See https://theme.co/apex/forum/t/setup-updating-your-themes-and-plugins/62 for more details.

  2. Clear all caches including browser cache then deactivate your caching plugins and other optimization plugins.

  3. If you’re using a CDN, please clear the CDN’s cache and disable optimization services.

  4. Test for a plugin conflict. You can do this by deactivating all third party plugins, and seeing if the problem remains. If it’s fixed, you’ll know a plugin caused the problem, and you can narrow down which one by reactivating them one at a time.

  5. Remove custom CSS, Javascript and templates.

Sorry! I provided the wrong URL. It should have been

The problem happened after I changed my x theme(pro) into a child theme. But when I changed it back, the editor still does not work. I have tried all ways but it doesnt work. Your help will be appreciated. Thank you!

Please deactivate all third party plugins and completely remove your caching plugin while we investigate. See the uninstall instruction for WP Super Cache..

If this could not be done, copy your site to a staging server so we could investigate without interrupting your live site.

Hi Christian,

I have figured out that the uber menu plugin causes the conflict. Is there any way we could deconflict the plugin so that we can use both uber menu and conerstone? :slight_smile:

The only UberMenu known conflict is the UberMenu Google Maps API. Please disable it. See http://sevenspark.com/docs/ubermenu-3/content/shortcodes/maps

Thanks for updating in! I have logged in to your site and continue to investigate the issue. I was able to edit one of your page. Please check out my screenshot:

I also check your themes and I could not find any Pro Child theme. So I went ahead and install the child theme, activated it and tested another page again. I still did not encounter any issue.


I went on again to enabled the Ubermenu. I tested again to edit the pages in the editor and I still do not encounter any issues. The problem may have been resolved already.

Please clear your browser cache or use private browser mode and test your site again.

Please let us know how it goes.

Thanks so much for your help. We installed our child theme earlier but as it couldn’t work with uber menu we uninstalled it. It’s working great now, thanks! We really appreciate it.

Hi, actually the intention of the staging site is for migration to our real domain. After we migrated, we ended up with the same issue actually. I’m terribly sorry, but was wondering if you could help us check it out!

Hi Paul,

Appreciate the help, actually cornerstone works if we disable the ubermenu plugin which leads us to believe that there is some conflict between the 2 plugins. We have disabled the google maps API as well on uber menu as we have heard that this also causes conflicts but the problem persists.

Maybe there is something in your Ubermenu? I have Ubermenu in my installation and has no issue with builder.

I checked your site with the new domain and I don’t see any issue. It works pretty well even after enabling the Ubermenu. Could you try testing it again? Or is this happening in specific pages?
