Cornerstone not working after upgrade to WP 5.2

I upgraded my WordPress platform to the most recent version of WordPress and the website stopped loading. I turned cornerstone off and the website loads fine. I downloaded the most recent version of the cornerstone plugin and it continues to cause the website not to load. I have it turned off for now, but I would like to have the plugin active. Not sure what to do at this point, but if I cannot get it working then I would like a refund on the plugin.

Hi Gena,

Thanks for writing in! I’m sorry to hear that you’re having this issue. Upon checking your Themeco account, I see that you have a Cornerstone license but I don’t see any site URL attached to your license, so I could not inspect your site.

First make sure that you have the latest version of Cornerstone plugin running on your site by following our version information here (https://theme.co/apex/forum/t/troubleshooting-version-compatibility/195).

Another common issue is that, if you’re running out of your memory limit, you may experience loading issues. In such cases, you will need to increase your PHP memory limit by following our guide here (https://theme.co/apex/forum/t/troubleshooting-increasing-php-memory-limit/16935).

If you’re using a caching plugin, please clear all caches and re-test your issue again (https://www.wpbeginner.com/beginners-guide/how-to-clear-your-cache-in-wordpress/).

If you’re having an issue after activating Cornerstone plugin, you can also enable WP_DEBUG mode on WordPress and re-test your issue further (https://codex.wordpress.org/WP_DEBUG). Once you enable WP_DEBUG mode, you will see descriptive errors on the screen when activating Cornerstone or re-visiting your pages.

If you’re still having issues, please provide us with your WordPress login credentials in a secure note to check your issue further.

Thanks!
