Cornerstone not validated

No idea how to fix this when it keeps giving me the same notice “We’ve checked the code, but it doesn’t appear to be an Cornerstone purchase code or Themeco license. Please double check the code and try again.”

I know it’s a purchased code form my Apex dashboard. I also tried updating it to PRO but nothing works. Please advise, it’s getting frustrating now!

Thanks for writing in! You don’t have to validate Cornerstone. Make sure that you’re fully updated including X theme & Cornerstone. You can check the latest version numbers from here (https://theme.co/apex/forum/t/troubleshooting-version-compatibility/195).

In case problem still persists, please share website URL, login details, purchase code for us to take a closer look.

So I’m trying to build a page ‘Past Recipients’ but something seems to be broken in Cornerstone… None of the changes I make show up in the preview, it’s just blank regardless of the Elements I place.

Hi there,

That is because you are using a very old version of the X theme with a new version of the Cornerstone which is not compatible.

Please update the theme to version 5.2.5.

There is a newer version of the theme which is in manual update channel and you can install it manually by downloading it from your Themeco Dashboard.

Within the Apex dashboard it says I am using Pro and the Wordpress dashboard doesn’t tell me to update! Strange…

Hi There,

It seems that you have upgraded your license to Pro but you’re using X theme. So that you cannot validate X theme using Pro license key. You need to install Pro theme on your site and then you should be able to validate.

Make sure to take a full backup of your site before proceeding.
