When we go into wordpress and pages, there are no options to click to get into the cornerstone editor.

Thanks for writing in! First of all make sure that you’re fully updated including X theme and Cornerstone plugin. You can check the latest version numbers from here (https://theme.co/apex/forum/t/troubleshooting-version-compatibility/195) and update accordingly by following our guide here (https://theme.co/apex/forum/t/setup-updating-your-themes-and-plugins/62).
If you’re still having issues, first try switching to your parent X theme and see if you’re experiencing any issues related to your child theme.
The next thing would be to check for a plugin conflict. You can do that by disabling all of your 3rd party plugins and test your issue again. If the issue is resolved, you can activate your plugins one by one to see which plugin cause the issue.
If you’re using a caching plugin, make sure to purge your server cache before testing.

I realized what it was. I think there was a hiccup somewhere and my acct was changed to editor for some reason. I didn’t know how to change it back so I gave the editor ADMIN rights

Glad it’s okay now, yes, changing user type and capability would affect the builder editing permission.
