Cornerstone not loading April 19

Hi - i can’t edit my website as Cornerstone icon just keeps spinning. I’ve updated the theme and plugins, cleared the style cache and the browser cache all to no avail. The php limit is 7.0 so it isn’t that either. I see I’m not the only one with this issue but it doesn’t seem to be resolved. Suggestions?

Please try out following solutions and let us know the outcome:

  1. Ensure everything is up to date according to our version compatibility list here. Please follow the best practices when updating your theme and plugins. Click here for more information.
  2. Test for a plugin conflict. You can do this by deactivating all third-party plugins, and see if the problem remains. If it’s fixed, you’ll know a plugin caused the problem, and you can narrow down which one by reactivating them one at a time.
  3. Increase the PHP Memory Limit of your server. Click here for more detailed information and how to increase the PHP memory limit.

If you still have problems kindly get back to us with the result of the steps above and URL/User/Pass of your WordPress dashboard using the Secure Note functionality of the post to follow up the case.

So it turns out it was the SG Optimizer plugin by Siteground. I would like to continue using this plugin but not if I can’t edit the site. Can you advise a solution to this as I have no other conflicts with my sites using X theme and this exact same plugin.

Since SG Optimizer is a third party plugin regretfully, we cannot provide support for it due to the fact that there is simply no way to account for all of the potential variables at play when using another developer’s plugin or script. Because of this, any questions you have regarding setup, integration, or troubleshooting any piece of functionality that is not native to X will need to be directed to the original developer.
