Cornerstone is still not working for me

Two or three updates ago, Cornerstone stopped working for me. I really need to move some things around on my front page and can’t do anything without Cornerstone. It would be great in future updates that changes could still be make even without Cornerstone. I just get the loading, loading, loading icon…

Sorry for the trouble you are facing with Cornerstone. Please try out following solutions and let us know the outcome:

  1. Ensure everything is up to date according to our version compatibility list here. Please follow the best practices when updating your theme and plugins. Click here for more information.
  2. Test for a plugin conflict. You can do this by deactivating all third-party plugins, and see if the problem remains. If it’s fixed, you’ll know a plugin caused the problem, and you can narrow down which one by reactivating them one at a time.
  3. Remove custom CSS and Javascript from the options or Child Theme and test the case.
  4. Reset your htaccess file by renaming it to .htaccess-bak. Then in WP Admin Menu, go to Settings > Permalinks and just click the Save Changes button.
  5. Increase the PHP Memory Limit of your server. Click here for more detailed information and how to increase the PHP memory limit.

Hi,

It was the Autoptimize plugin that is causing the issue.

I excluded cornertone js files from minification and that fixes the issue.

No need to minify those files as they are already minified by default

Kindly check in your end.
