Cornerstone editor not loading after transfer from Staging Site

Hello,

I have been working on an update for our company’s website on WPengine’s server, using a staging site. Today I went ahead and deployed the staging site, over to Live. Everything seems to be running fine. However, the Home Page is built with Cornerstone, and when I go to ‘Edit with Cornerstone’, the Cornerstone logo just sits there trying to load, and it never launches.

Not sure where the issue is. I do have backups i can revert to, but ultimately, I want to see if the problem is easily fixable first without reverting backups.

The site is www.biorecovery.com, and the staging site it was deployed from is biorecovery.staging.wpengine.com (Still accessable now, cornerstone was working just fine on the staging site)

Hi There @thehorrorchord

Thanks for writing in! You need to check few things to make sure that you have migrated correctly.

First of all, follow our migration guide here (https://theme.co/apex/forum/t/cornerstone-content-builder-migration/126) on how to migrate your site properly.

Then install the following plugin on both your staging and live site (https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-serverinfo/) and check the following server configurations.

PHP version: 5.6.x or higher
PHP Memory Limit: 512MiB or higher
PHP max script execution time: 120 or higher is recommended

Make sure that you have the same or higher configurations than your staging server environment.

Also I see that you’re using CloudFlare on your live site. Login to your CloudFlare account, head over to Speed tab and make sure to disable CSS/Javascript autominification options. If you have enabled rocket loader, please follow this article (https://xthemetips.com/using-cloudflare-rocket-loader-with-x-pro-and-x5/928/). Make sure to clear your CliudFlare cache as well after changing your settings.

Let us know how it goes.
Thanks!

Hi there! The cornerstone editor works. The issue was Rocketloader. I disabled it, cleared cache, and it works fine now. The staging server i developed on, didnt have cloudflare w/ Rocket loader running.

Thanks so much!

Glad we were able to help
