Cornerstone editing - all items are greyed out

Hi,

i am trying to add more pages to the site, when in cornerstone and i want to add anything, be it text or images or a button, its greyed out. I go to preview the page and its blank as though cornerstone doesn’t recognize what i want to do, or is pulling the items from an unknown location and greying out items.

any ideas?

Hi there,

This might be caused by several possible cases. But I will list the most important ones here which you need to check:

• Make sure you have version 2.1.4 of the Cornerstone plugin and version 5.2.4 of the X Theme. If not please kindly update them:

• If you are using the Child Theme, try to test the website with the parent theme. If it fixes the issue then there must be something related to the code customization you have in your Child Theme.

• Check for 3rd party plugins conflict, by deactivating all plugins except Cornerstone and see if it fixes the problem. If yes then activate plugins one by one to find the one causing the issue.

• Make sure that your installation environment has enough PHP Memory Limit to run the software. Please kindly follow the guide below to increase the limit:

• If you are using services such as CloudFlare which minifies the CSS/JS assets you will need to turn off the minification service, as the assets of the theme are already minified. For more information:
