I’ve bought a X theme but cornerstone don’t work on wordpress…
How can i have my refound?

Hi there,

Thank you for reaching out to us. We’re sorry you’re having trouble with Cornerstone. There could be many factors breaking the Cornerstone, We’ve observed this mostly happening due to the old version of WordPress, updating WP may fix the issue. it could also be caused by other factors such as plugin conflict, low memory, old PHP version, incorrect permalinks, invalid content or similar.

Can you please let us know the issue you’re having in detail so we can help you out in getting started. In the mean time can you please try out the following suggestions:

  1. Check the version of WP and upgrade to the latest version and re-validate X.

  2. Check your PHP version and update it to the latest or it should be 5.6.x or above.

  3. Ensure everything is up to date according to our version compatibility list at https://theme.co/apex/forum/t/troubleshooting-version-compatibility/195. Please follow the best practices when updating your theme and plugins. See https://theme.co/apex/forum/t/setup-updating-your-themes-and-plugins/62 for more details.

  4. Clear all caches including browser cache then deactivate your caching plugins and other optimization plugins.

  5. If you’re using a CDN, please clear the CDN’s cache and disable optimization services.

  6. Test for a plugin conflict. You can do this by deactivating all third party plugins, and seeing if the problem remains. If it’s fixed, you’ll know a plugin caused the problem, and you can narrow down which one by reactivating them one at a time.

  7. Remove custom CSS, JavaScript and deactivate your child theme and switch to parent theme (take a complete backup first).

  8. Reset your htaccess file by renaming it to .htaccess-bak. Then in WP Admin Menu, go to Settings > Permalinks and just click the Save Changes button.

  9. Contact your host to increase your allocated memory or do it yourself by adding this code in your wp-config.php

define( 'WP_MEMORY_LIMIT', '256M' );
define( 'WP_MAX_MEMORY_LIMIT', '512M' );

Hope this helps!.
