Cornerstone doesnt launch for Post page editing

Hello,

I have enabled Cornerstone for Posts, Pages and Portfolio items. So far I was able to edit fully the pages, limited manipulation of portfolio but Post pages I have from Agency demo doesnt launch Cornerstone. i mean I cant edit Posts the way I like it.

Why is that?

Hello There,

Thanks for writing in! Are you trying to edit the news page or the blog index using Cornerstone? Please understand that you cannot use Cornerstone or even the default WordPress editor to edit the blog index. This page is using a template index.php and the contents were generated by WordPress dynamically displaying the post items in Chronological order.

You can only use Cornerstone to edit a page, posts or portfolio items. You won’t be able to use it to edit the category page, archive page, the blog index or any page that is using the Layout - Portfolio page template.
