We removed the old “Additional Post Types” settings when we built out the new Permissions Manager. You can enable any post types there and customize granular permissions as desired.

all permissions are the same for pages and blocks.
in the wp dashbord I go to pages, place the mouse over a specific page and get the option “Edit with Cornerstone”.
I do the same with a block and “Edit with Cornerstone” is not among the options.
where is Cornerstone to edit a block?
for pages it is there!

my commercial site has the same problem.
Seems I found the problem:
the power botton in x settings for blocks was off.
after switching it on and updating the settings cornerstone works.
why you deliver an update with the power botton off, only you can answer. I’d expect that after an update all permissions stay unchanged.
