Cornerstone blocked on the loading page

Hello,

I recently updated wordpress and X. Now cornerstone is not loading anymore when I want to edit a page. It’s stucked on the loading page. With the error in the console “POST www.datastory.ch/cornerstone-endpoint 404 NOT FOUND”.

I checked the website and the server configuration that’s shared in the ticket. I suggest you to please take a look at the solution shared in following thread:

I also noticed that in server configuration it’s mentioned that the server is using PHP 5.6.40. I suggest you to update PHP to at least version PHP 7 as that’s the minimum requirement to run WordPress. Here’s the server resource document that you can check:

Thanks for the support. The issue is still there.
I’ve updated the PHP version but the issue stays.

The issue is not coming from ModSecurity.

Hello Jerome,

Thanks for providing the information. Both the Cornerstone and X > Theme Options will not load. If your Mod Security is enabled, can you please ask assistance from your hosting provider and ask them to whitelist the url in the secure note.

Any other tips ?
Otherwise I will try to reinstall.

Hi Jerome,

It’s caused by polylang plugin, I recommend deactivating it or downgrade it to previous version when it’s still working with cornerstone endpoints.
