I am having issues saving changes to a website and noticed Cornerstone had not updated to the newest version but does not show that it needs an update or offer a way to check for/install an update. I tried to de-activate it hoping it would recognize that it was out of date but it will not de-activate. The site is AgViewSolutions.com

I see that you are using X version 4.0.6 and Cornerstone 1.0.5 on http://agviewsolutions.com/. As the website is having fairly old version of X Theme and Cornerstone, automattic update might not work. You will have to update manually X Theme and Cornerstone.

I suggest you to please make a copy of the website on a staging server and test the update process over there. In case any issue comes up, same can be looked at without affecting the live website. To update the website please take a look at following resource.
