Hi, I creates a Website for a costumer, and tryed to give him a surface to change content and create or change pages. I followed your Link: https://theme.co/apex/forum/t/permissions/32879
So I did my settings for an “Author” (allowed him to set pages but not to change Portfolio)
, and saved it!
But when I enter to the dashboard by using the authors login, I see the following:

I’m able to set an Item in Portfolio, but no one in Pages. When I enter --> Pro --> content it tells me there is no content…
Is there anything I forgot to do?

Hey Susanne,

That is actually more of a Wordpress default functionality than a theme issue. Each user roles have certain capabilities.

Here are what Authors can do:

You might want to check out this plugin that will allow you to change the access of each roles:
