Content gone after search/replace from http to https

Im having a bit of panic here. I changed the site URL to https, forced https and now all the content is gone on my clients web page.
See englaporten.se

This is what I did:

  1. I forced SSL from the hosting provider.
  2. Searched and replaced http://englaporten.se to https://englaporten.se
  3. Changed the Wordpress URL and site URL to https://englaporten.se
  4. Updated permalinks

The header and the footer seems OK. But the content on each page is super weird. All the copy is gone. Shortcode and slider on start page is gone. Some elements remain.
Please help…

Edit: The Edit page option is gone and if I go to edit a page in WP admin I can get into Cornerstone but the content is still missing.

Edit 2: Seems like there is only problems with some pages, the most important ones. These are also the pages I have updated more recently, maybe a month ago.

https://englaporten.se/englaklubben/
https://englaporten.se/englaporten-4-2/
https://englaporten.se/englaporten-3-2/
https://englaporten.se/englaporten-2-2/
https://englaporten.se/englaporten-1/

Update: I created a new page and inserted a template.
I get the message “Template inserted” but Cornerstone dont load the content.

If I deactivate all plugins I get this error message:
Warning: include_once(/www/webvol20/58/jpj1tl2j9yzno9j/englaporten.se/public_html/wp-content/plugins/wp-super-cache/wp-cache-phase1.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /www/webvol20/58/jpj1tl2j9yzno9j/englaporten.se/public_html/wp-content/advanced-cache.php on line 20

Hi @mariamohlin,

Sorry to hear that you’re having that issue, but your site is on under construction page and the credentials above do not work, so we’re not able to see your site.

Base on that error you show above, you seem to have an issue with wp super cache, please CLEAR and DEACTIVATE that plugin for now. Make sure you clear it’s caching before you deactivate it so that the code from the latest release is always in use. This will help you to avoid any potential errors.

And please check this following:

  • Ensure that you are fully up to date. WordPress, Theme, and Cornerstone (Version Compatibility)
  • Test for a plugin conflict. You can do this by deactivating all third party plugins, and seeing if the problem remains. If it’s fixed, you’ll know a plugin caused the problem, and you can narrow down which one by reactivating them one at a time.

Do not edit any of your Cornerstone build pages for now until we figure out what is the issue to keep it safe.

Please provide us a working login credential so we can take a closer look.
Thanks,

OK I start by giving you new credentials, try any of these.
I just changed the pwd for mariamohlin so it should work.

I have now cleared WP Super Cache, deactivated and deleted the plugin.
I deactivated all the plugins. Updated Wordpress and the theme to latest versions.

The only thing I did in Cornerstone was to open the start page. I didnt save.

I still have the same problem.

I can’t wait this long. I created a staging site where I recreated the pages and just pushed it live.
This makes me concerned that this can happen…

Hello Maria,

My apologies but I am a bit confused with the current state of your site now.

Are you still trying to make the https links work for https://englaporten.se?

If so, please make sure that you have a full backup of the database of your database then go back to the better search and replace tool then do the search and replace for:

search for http://englaporten.se and replace it with https://englaporten.se and
search for http:\/\/englaporten.se and replace it with https:\/\/englaporten.se

Please let us know if you are still having issues with some pages.

Hope this helps.
