Content editing in Pro

Hey guys,

i updated to pro a while ago and try to setup a whole new page. i played a bit with header and footer editor and it works nicely. so i decided to add some content. well the dropdown with presets is empty - ok i thought lets do it on your own. when i add some element by pulling it on the site i can’t really edit it. for example: i can only add text content to a content element but not style it like i did in the header/footer section. i just want to know if it should be possible to alter the design the same way or im doing it totally wrong.

Hey there,

It looks like you’re using the Raw Element but it should have ID, Class and Style fields.

New V2 elements do have more options.

Please do the following to see if it will display the other options.

1. Ensure everything is up to date according to our version compatibility list at https://theme.co/apex/forum/t/troubleshooting-version-compatibility/195. Please follow the best practices when updating your theme and plugins. See https://theme.co/apex/forum/t/setup-updating-your-themes-and-plugins/62 for more details.

2. Clear all caches including browser cache then deactivate your caching plugins and other optimization plugins.

3. If you’re using a CDN, please clear the CDN’s cache and disable optimization services.

4. Test for a plugin conflict. You can do this by deactivating all third party plugins, and seeing if the problem remains. If it’s fixed, you’ll know a plugin caused the problem, and you can narrow down which one by reactivating them one at a time.

5. Remove custom CSS, Javascript and templates.

6. Ask your web host to increase your allocated memory and max execution time.

If nothing helps, please give us access to your WP Admin and cPanel in a Secure Note so we could check what’s happening in the back-end.
