Content Dock Pop-up Not Appearing on Blog Page

Hi guys,

I’d like my Content Dock pop-up to appear on the blog page here https://blogs.themantic-education.com/ibpsych/. It does appear at the very bottom of the page however under the footer. The pop-up is appearing on other pages such as the Categories and Resources pages. I’ve followed this ticket but the Javascript doesn’t seem to be working:

Please help!

Thanks,

Jamie

Hey Jamie,

I see you’re using an outdated version of X. Please first ensure X and Cornerstone is up to date and also check if you’re using the latest Content Dock plugin version. You can check our version compatibility list at https://theme.co/apex/forum/t/troubleshooting-version-compatibility/195. Please follow the best practices when updating your theme and plugins. See https://theme.co/apex/forum/t/setup-updating-your-themes-and-plugins/62 for more details.

If that does not help, please test for the following also:

  1. Clear all caches including browser cache then deactivate your caching plugins and other optimization plugins.

  2. If you’re using a CDN, please clear the CDN’s cache and disable optimization services.

  3. Test for a plugin conflict. You can do this by deactivating all third party plugins, and seeing if the problem remains. If it’s fixed, you’ll know a plugin caused the problem, and you can narrow down which one by reactivating them one at a time.

  4. Remove custom CSS, Javascript and templates.

If that does not help, please disable IP restriction so we could login to your WordPress Admin. I tried the credentials in your other thread but they don’t work.

Thanks.

Hi Christian,

I’ve tried each of the suggestions you’ve listed above and I’m still getting the problem. I’ll share my WordPress admin credentials with you via a secure note.

Thanks,

Jamie

Hi Jamie,

This is a bit weird, the “tco-content-dock-generated-css” styles aren’t printed out on the homepage, we will need FTP login details as well in order to debug this issue, make sure to provide such information in Secure Note.

Thanks.

Hi Alaa,

I’ve been in touch with my hosting company regarding the FTP problem. They would like to know your IP address. Could you share that with me?

Thanks

Hi Jamie,

Sorry, but we can not provide a specific IP address because 1) we are from different part of the world and we don’t know who’s going to handle the ticket next, 2) Most of us are using dynamic IP.

Anyways, I can confirm this bug on my dev site, I’ve submitted this to our issue tracker so the developers will be made aware of it.

Thank you for understanding,

Thanks Friech. Is there anything more I need to do?

You’re welcome.
