Content band unable to set background color

Hi, we are setting up our website using X. The work in progress is available here http://i73x.com/x18fresh/accueil-plancher/. We got two problems with this page, but for now we are unable to set the background color of the content band where it says “NOTRE GAMME DE PRODUITS”.

We have set up the background color to red, but it stays blank. Help please,

But you can access the page.

Hi @jftell,

Thanks for writing in.

Upon checking your page, I could see that it is not set or does not have any signs that it has been set to red.

This could be caching. Caching does not permit you to change anything. If developing your site, try to deactivate it first before changing anything.

This could be also a plugin conflict. There is other plugin that causing your VC not to work well. You could try testing for a plugin conflict. You can do this by deactivating all third party plugins, and seeing if the problem remains. If it’s fixed, you’ll know a plugin caused the problem, and you can narrow down which one by reactivating them one at a time.

This could be the version of your VC not compatible to the theme. You could check the latest version in the link below:

I could suggest you a CSS however it is not ideal. So please share us your admin credentials if still the suggested fix above is not helping.

Don’t forget to set it in a secure note.

Thanks.

Yes, there is a conflict with the Ultimate Addons for WPBakery Page Builder. But we need to design the page like this one http://i73x.com/ It use Jupiter, VC (+ultimate Addon, who is included in Jupiter). But we got another extension conflict using Jupiter (incompatiblity with FancyBox 3).

So we hope to make it possible with X.

Without the Ultimate Addons, can we have something like a Content Box. How?

Hey @jftell,

Regretfully, we could not support the conflict with third party plugins. The layout you’re trying to achieve is possible using the Essential Grid (see the Cobbles demo of EG). To learn how to use the Essential Grid, please see its documentation here.

It is also possible in Cornerstone in combination with the Global Block feature.

I recorded how I arrived at the setup here. If you find the video fast, slow the playback down or pause and play to follow along.

If you wish to continue with the third party plugin, using Visual Composer natively might help. To do that, go to WPBakery Page Builder > X Integration and disable X Integration. Just note that X Integrated elements like the Content Band will be disabled both in the back-end and front-end so if you have live pages using those, you will need to rebuild them using native VC.

Hope that helps.
