Colour to Greyscale Hover Scattered Images

Hello again!

I’ve had some amazing and super helpful responses form you guys and I really appreciate it so here I go with another section!

I want to add a bunch of logos to my next section. In the following format (I hope this makes sense):

With each logo, I want them to appear in greyscale but then appear in colour when they are hovered over (or vice versa depending on what look I like better) and then they get directed to another page when they click the logo.

Is it best to do something like this through revslider using layers? Are there any predefined templates for this? Is there another way that would work better?

Thanks again : )

Hello There,

Thanks for writing in! You can easily set this logo format by using Essential Grid plugin. Take this links for example:

You can install Essential grid in X > Validation > Extensions. To know more about how this plugin is bundled in the theme, please check this out: https://theme.co/apex/forum/t/extension-essential-grid/68

Hope this helps.

Thanks I’ll give it a go and how I get on

Let us know how it goes,

Cheers!

Hi there

I’ve been able to work out the desired effect using one of the templates in essential grid which is great BUT when I hover over the image it comes up with the image title. I don’t want this.

I have tried checking that animation is off as well as changing the grid animation to fade and 0 and still this title appears!

Any help in this area would be very helpful as always!

Thank you

Hi @SecureSpot,

The title is part of the skin as a layer. It can’t be turn off by changing its animation. Have you tried editing the assigned skin to your grid? You can delete any layers there.

Please check this https://www.themepunch.com/essgrid-doc/item-skin-editor/

Thanks!

Thanks heaps - it worked!!! I tried looking in so many spots and just missed this one!!
Any idea how I can edit the skin to change it from greyscale to colour on hover? Or change to alt image?

Thanks!
