Clone page breaks cornerstone

Hi,

I used to be able to clone a page then edit it in cornerstone.

I found this morning that after cloning a page cornerstone will not allow it to be edited.

I get an opps error and an attempt to switch to skeleton mode which does not work.

Any help much appreciated,
Mike

The page concerned is acamuseum.ca/past-events.

I have created a login for you if required,

Mike

Just noticed I am getting errors on most pages now, unable to load cornerstone switching to skeleton view.

Hi There,

To clone pages in Cornerstone please use Cornerstone Templates feature.

Save your pages as CS tamplates create new ones and insert your templates.

Hope it helps!

OK, I will give that a try. Clone page was easy though! One click new page. Yipee.
:grinning:

Hi, I was going to try that but now I get this error for any page I try to edit.

There’s an error coming from a minified Javascript file which is not a part of X and Cornerstone.

Please do following:

  1. Ensure everything is up to date according to our version compatibility list at https://theme.co/apex/forum/t/troubleshooting-version-compatibility/195

  2. Clear all caches including browser cache then deactivate your caching plugins and other optimization plugins.

  3. If you’re using a CDN, please clear the CDN’s cache and disable optimization services.

  4. Test for a plugin conflict. You can do this by deactivating all third party plugins, and seeing if the problem remains. If it’s fixed, you’ll know a plugin caused the problem, and you can narrow down which one by reactivating them one at a time.

  5. Remove custom CSS, Javascript and templates.

Thanks.

Hi,

I got it it’s Hummingbird Pro from WPMUDEV. Disabling it allows page edits.

Thanks for the guidance.

You’re always welcome! Glad you have sorted this out!

Cheers.
