How to modify the files from folder Framework in child theme ? I dont seem to find a solution.

Thanks for writing in! It’s not clear whether you need to override a template file or function. So I will add examples to both.

For example if you’re using Renew stack and let’s say you want to change this post content header file (x/framework/views/renew/_content-post-header.php). First make sure that you have an active child theme.

Then you can copy that template file into your child theme’s respective location, which is (x-child/framework/views/renew/_content-post-header.php). Then when you edit this file on your child theme, it will override the changes.

Similarly there are predefined functions located under (X/framework/functions/) directory. For example let’s say you need to edit this function x_social_global() under (x/framework/functions/global/social.php).

You can copy the PHP function into your child theme’s functions.php file and then customize accordingly. So that it will override you changes.
