will changing the WordPress Site URL break the theme?

I’m planning to change the current Site URL to a different Domain but it will stay in the existing home directory public_html/

I use the PRO theme

or it is better to clone the current site and move it to the new site URL using something like the “Duplicator” plugin? will the clone process also update the theme?

Hey Vince,

The frontend will not break but you might encounter a problem with the builder. You will need to do a proper modern WordPress migration. Please see our Migration guide here: https://theme.co/apex/forum/t/cornerstone-content-builder-migration/126/1
