Changing section colour issue

Hi there.

I am suddenly having issues changing the colour of a specific section when it is in a specific area. This section is on the homepage (The main one not ‘Home testing’) and whenever I have the reviews section in between the about and FAQ then it gets stuck after changing it to one colour, it wont let me change the colour unless I move it below the FAQ or above the about sections or reload the page. I tried deactivating all the plugins and tried recreating the page (Home testing) but it does the exact same thing every time. I have never seen this before and I am not sure why it would get stuck after trying to select a colour.

I have Autoptimize enabled but I have already tried deactivating and disabling some settings without success.

Any help would be appreciated!

Thanks.

Hi There,

When I check review section, it is currently in between about me and FAQ section and I am able to change colors multiple times. I change it back to original background color. See this: https://screencast-o-matic.com/watch/cbQj6pI6bv. Is this now sorted out?

Hey there.

Um… It still gets stuck for me. I am able to do what you showed in the video. When I say change the colour I don’t mean pick a colour and then save it. I mean just use the colour wheel a couple of times and then at some point it just gets stuck on one colour until you reload the page or move it.

Hi There,

Sorry but we can’t replicate the issue on our end, please provide us screen-cast on how we can replicate the issue.

While we are on this, please clear and deactivate all your caching and optimizer plugins.

Thanks,

I have the issue when you press on the colour (english) it does not show the seleted colour just rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)

Hi @neilr2096,

Thanks for writing around! Please check for the following first:

  1. Ensure everything is up to date according to our version compatibility list at https://theme.co/apex/forum/t/troubleshooting-version-compatibility/195. Please follow the best practices when updating your theme and plugins. See https://theme.co/apex/forum/t/setup-updating-your-themes-and-plugins/62 for more details.

  2. Clear all caches including browser cache then deactivate your caching plugins and other optimization plugins.

  3. If you’re using a CDN, please clear the CDN’s cache and disable optimization services.

  4. Test for a plugin conflict. You can do this by deactivating all third party plugins, and seeing if the problem remains. If it’s fixed, you’ll know a plugin caused the problem, and you can narrow down which one by reactivating them one at a time.

  5. Remove custom CSS and Javascript if added.

Let us know if the issue remains!.

Still the same

Hi,

I tried several times and can’t seem to replicate the issue as well.

May I know what browser and OS are you using?

Can you try it on another browser, there could be some browser extension that might be causing the issue.

Thanks
