Change the background doesn't work

hey guys,
me again.
I am trying to change the background of the page but in the theme options Lay out and design doesn’t work. Here attacched the screen shot on where I was changing it…

could you please tell me what I was doing wrong?

Hi @isa1978,

Thanks for writing in.

As I checked the image, I could see that you have change the color however it is transparent that is why it is not showing.

If still not helping, please share us your admin credentials so we could check further.

Don’t forget to set it in a secure note.

Please check also if your setup is updated to the latest version.

Let us know how it goes.

Hi nico,
no I have tried also taking out the transparency and with different colours but it doesn’t change.

As for the updating, yes I don’t have any pending updatings to do on the theme.

Hi again,

Thank you for the credentials. I checked your setup and I see you’ve the BACKGROUND PATTERN set which is overriding your background color, just remove the BACKGROUND PATTERN and then set the background color and it will work fine.

Make sure to purge the cache after saving the changes.
