Change search text

Hey guys,

can anyone point me in the direction to where and how I change the text “Search” (see attached image)

Hi Tony,

The function that controls that is on navbar.php on this folder: wp-content\themes\x\framework\legacy\cranium\headers\functions

It is this function below. Copy it on your child theme functions.php file:

					$items .= '<li class="menu-item x-menu-item x-menu-item-search">'
							  . '<a href="#" class="x-btn-navbar-search">'
								. '<span><i class="x-icon-search" data-x-icon="&#xf002;" aria-hidden="true"></i><span class="x-hidden-desktop"> ' . __( 'Search', '__x__' ) . '</span></span>'
							  . '</a>'
							. '</li>';
				  }
				}
			
				return $items;
			
			  }
			  add_filter( 'wp_nav_menu_items', 'x_navbar_search_navigation_item', 9998, 2 );

Look for this line:

 . '<span><i class="x-icon-search" data-x-icon="&#xf002;" aria-hidden="true"></i><span class="x-hidden-desktop"> ' . __( 'Search', '__x__' ) . '</span></span>'

Update the Search word accordingly.
