Cant seem to delete a section in X

Hey guys,

This may be a very easy problem to fix but its driving me nuts.

Id like to get rid of these sections (image attached) in my design but simply cant seem to figure out how.

It’s the black section (#1) and the blue one that also says “assign a menu” (#2)

Any ideas? Thank you for your time in advance!

Hey @Fred1985,

The black portion is the top footer and the blue one is the bottom footer. If you wish to eliminate the footer for a particular page, you can use a page template with No Footer. In case you’re not aware about the page templates, please see https://theme.co/apex/forum/t/meta-options-pages/144

If you don’t need to display widgets globally, you can disable the Footer Widget Areas in WP Admin Menu > X > Theme Options > Footer.

Still in Theme Options > Footer, you can turn off the Bottom Footer site-wide.

Hope that helps.

Got it. I can delete both (no container, header, no footer), but ideally, Id like to keep the black footer for links.

Would that be possible? To just get rid of the blue footer section?

Most importantly, Id like to get rid of the “Assign A Menu” text.

Hey @Fred1985,

A No Footer page template will remove both the Top and Bottom footers so if you intend to keep the black footer which is the Top Footer with the Widget Areas, you will need to use a page template with footer and just disable the Bottom Footer in Theme Options > Footer.

The Assign a Menu text is the Footer Menu and that is inside the Bottom Footer. You can disable the whole Bottom Footer in Theme Options > Footer, as I’ve said in the previous reply.

You can also disable the Footer Menu only. Please check out the options in Theme Options > Footer.

Thanks.
