Can't install the Church Demo Pack

I have installed Theme X. There are no plugins installed expect for the bare Cornerstone.
I have tried to increase size limit on wp-config files. Even placed the code code mentioned in previous threads. (with backups of course)

Same error. Would appreciate some help on this.
Here’s my setup below.

Wordpress Version 4.9.4

Linux Based Server
Apache Version: 2.2.31
MySQL Version: 5.5.58-cll
PHP Version: 5.5.37

As per the question, you have mentioned that the server is running PHP version 5.5.37. Please make sure that you are running PHP 7 or later on the server as running old version of PHP can have potential issues.
