Can't edit with Cornerstone or delete Cornerstone

i can not delete cornerstone. i can not edit in cornerstone. we need help to edit our site with this X theme.

Hi There @analto

Thanks for writing in! I’m not sure whether you mean deleting Cornerstone content or Cornerstone plugin. If you want to delete your Cornerstone plugin and re-install, you can simply connect through your server FTP account and locate the Cornerstone plugin file under (/wp-content/plugins/cornerstone) and delete it.

Upon checking your site URLs assigned to this Themeco account, I see one site with older version of X theme and Cornerstone. The other site I see is, using the latest version of X theme and Cornerstone (check the secure note below for site information).

If you’re having your issue with the older versions site, please update your X theme and Cornerstone plugin in that site by following our update guide here (https://theme.co/apex/forum/t/setup-updating-your-themes-and-plugins/62). You can refer to the latest version information from here (https://theme.co/apex/forum/t/troubleshooting-version-compatibility/195).

If you’re having this issue with the latest versions site, please follow our troubleshooting points below.

  • Clear all the site caches (plugin, server-side, CDN, and browser’s cache) so that the code from the latest release is always in use. This will help you to avoid any potential errors. Please deactivate this caching features while we tackle this issue. You can also refer to the following resource (https://www.wpbeginner.com/beginners-guide/how-to-clear-your-cache-in-wordpress/).

  • Test for a plugin conflict. You can do this by deactivating all third party plugins, and seeing if the problem remains. If it’s fixed, you’ll know a plugin caused the problem, and you can narrow down which one by reactivating them one at a time.

  • Remove custom Javascript and custom templates (if any).

  • Reset your .htaccess file by renaming it to .htaccess-bak. Then in WP Admin Menu, go to Settings > Permalinks and just click the Save Changes button.

  • Contact your hosting provider to increase your allocated memory limit or do it yourself by following our guide here (https://theme.co/apex/forum/t/troubleshooting-increasing-php-memory-limit/16935).

If the issue persists, please provide us the site URL and credentials in a Secure Note so we can take a closer look.

Thanks!
