Can't edit with Cornerstone - hangs with Spinning Wheel

I’ve used Cornerstone for weeks but this morning it started hanging with just the black square and white spinning wheel in the middle of the screen.

Not sure this is related but it seems to be: added two lines to .htaccess:
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_URI} !^/clientzone/
RewriteRule ^blog/(.*)$ $1

Cornerstone started hanging when I tried to edit from the list of pages. I commented out the above two lines and it still hung when trying to launch it from the list of pages but would start up when selecting it from the ‘X’ in the top menu bar.

Put the two lines back into .htaccess and then tried to launch from the ‘X’ in the top menu bar and now it hangs from there as well. Commented out the two lines and it still hangs no matter which way I try to access it.

As per other threads I’ve tried clearing the cache, updated Cornerstone and all plugins but no joy…

Hey Tim,

Please try the following:

3. If you’re using a CDN, please clear the CDN’s cache and disable optimization services.

4. Test for a plugin conflict. You can do this by deactivating all third party plugins, and seeing if the problem remains. If it’s fixed, you’ll know a plugin caused the problem, and you can narrow down which one by reactivating them one at a time.

5. Remove custom CSS, Javascript and templates.

6. Reset your htaccess file by renaming it to .htaccess-bak. Then in WP Admin Menu, go to Settings > Permalinks and just click the Save Changes button.

7. Contact your host to increase your allocated memory or do it yourself by adding this code in your wp-config.php

Thanks - mysteriously cleared up by itself (so probably some sort of cache issue that timed out?)
