Can't edit homepage with Cornerstone after SSL and HTTPS activation

After I installed SSL to wordpress, i can’t edit the home page. Other pages are OK to change.

Hi there,

There might be some links that we not properly updated when you switch to https.

Please install the Better Search Replace plugin then do the following:


    search for http://example.com and replace it with https://example.com and
    search for http:\/\/example.com and replace it with https:\/\/example.com

Replace example.com with the domain name of your site.

I did your suggestion but it doesn’t help. Just the same error.
Can somebody please help.

Hi Jens,

I tried checking with Better Search Replace and there are still links on your site not updated.

Kindly make sure to check for the correct domains and uncheck dry run to complete the search replace. Also please make sure to keep a backup of your database before making any changes.

Hi Jens,

There is an internal server why it’s not working, but I couldn’t find the details. You could try testing for a plugin conflict. You can do this by deactivating all third party plugins, and seeing if the problem remains. If it’s fixed, you’ll know a plugin caused the problem, and you can narrow down which one by reactivating them one at a time.

Then please provide your FTP login credentials as well so I could check if error log is available.
