Cannot Launch Media Browser

Hi,
i am desperate to fix this, my client is going nuts at me.

It seems we lost the ability to remove an existing image and then replace it with another in cornerstone initially.
That’s a pretty simple basic function, however, the client complained that when they “closed” an image with the ‘x’ that the media browser would not launch when they hit the ‘+’ that replaced it.

I updated the site to pro and even moved it to my test environment on php 7 and still the media browser won’t launch.

Anyone have any idea how I can fix this?

Hi There,

You could try testing for a plugin conflict. You can do this by deactivating all third party plugins, and seeing if the problem remains. If it’s fixed, you’ll know a plugin caused the problem, and you can narrow down which one by reactivating them one at a time.

Yes I tried that, no joy.

I turned everything off and still the same thing happened. This is what I see when I inspect the code, there’s no link there.

  2. If you’re using a CDN, please clear the CDN’s cache and disable optimization services.
  3. Remove custom CSS and Javascript from the options or Child Theme and test the case.
  4. Test if it is the case on that specific page or if you add a new page and add the Image element it works.
