Cannot drag & drop in Cornerstone

Hi everyone,

I cannot drag and drop items in Cornerstone anymore on my website https://deverhalenmakers.nl. It’s the first time this has happened to me since I launched the website in March 2018. This problem started today.

The drag & drop problem is not consistent. Some items I can drag and drop, others I can’t. Sometimes, I can suddenly move the item again and then it stops again. Sometimes, when I move one object, another object that I tried to move before but failed, suddenly does move! It’s driving me crazy.

I tried everything and I’m getting really frustrated:

  • disabled all plugins
  • disabled caching
  • disabled everything in Cloudflare
  • cleared my browser cache
  • tried a different browser (normally Firefox, tried Safari - no dice)
  • increased PHP memory

Any help would be greatly appreciated, so thanks in advance!

Thanks for asking.

  1. Ensure everything is up to date according to our version compatibility list here. Please follow the best practices when updating your theme and plugins. Click here for more information.
  2. Go to X > Settings and click on the Clear Style Cache button.
  3. Remove custom CSS and Javascript from the options or Child Theme and test the case.
  4. Reset your htaccess file by renaming it to .htaccess-bak. Then in WP Admin Menu, go to Settings > Permalinks and just click the Save Changes button.
  5. Increase the PHP Memory Limit of your server. Click here for more detailed information and how to increase the PHP memory limit.
