Cannot activate or download Revolution slider template

Hi team, I purchased XTheme with Revolution Slider included. I’m trying to manually download a ‘free’ slider template but it’s taking me to the checkout page to pay 27 USD. What am I doing wrong? Thanks. Ramona

Hi there,

The Revolution Slider plugin is bundled with our theme as an extra feature and only the plugin is at hand for free:

The template section of the plugin is not included in the package. For that, you will need to purchase the plugin separately.

Hey thanks for the response. Just so I understand correctly, ‘I cannot use any of the free templates from Revolution Slider as part of my X theme bundle package’…Correct? Sorry, newbie here. I don’t understand why just the plug in was included? What can I do with just the plug-in?

Hi There,

That is not correct.

The version bundled with X offers all the same functionalities as the purchased version except you cannot import slider from whitin the plugin.

To import the free demos you need to download the demos from this site by hovering the slider example and clicking the download icon : https://revolution.themepunch.com/free-slider-exchange/

Once you have downloaded the demo, you need to go to Wp Admin | Slider Revolution | and Import the demo you just downloaded.

Hi team, figured out. Apparently the templates that can be downloaded are the ones you see when you scroll down the main page. If you click on ‘free sliders’ it takes you to a page that you cannot download from. Thanks! When I try to import the file though, it says ‘Error incompatible archive’. As it downloads as a file with several components, how can I import this? Thanks again.

Thanks for updating in! Did you upload the .zip file or you have unzip it?

Take this image as an example.

I am going to download this slider and import it to my site. I will be download fashion.zip file to my computer first. And then login to my dashboard and start the import process in Rev Slider panel. I will be uploading fashion.zip file directly.

Please do not unzip the file.

Please let us know how it goes.

Hey! It’s not downloading as a zip file. It’s one file and when I click on it, this is what I see (image included).

Please try downloading with a different browser.

If that does not work, zip the file and try to import it.

I use those templates quite often and it always donwload as a zip file.
