Can View Page But It Is Not Editable In Cornerstone

Hi

Somehow the ‘About’ page on the website ran into a problem. Currently, if you go to All Pages and click ‘view’ on the About Page, you can see the page. The page is also live on the website and is viewable. The problem is, when you try to edit it in Cornerstone, the only thing that shows up is the header and footer. No idea where the problem arose, since we were not working on that page when the problem happened. So we have no access to working on this page.

Any idea if this can be fixed would be greatly appreciated?

Thanks for writing in!

I have logged in and check your About page. It seems that it has been edited outside of Cornerstone. Please understand that you are not supposed to switched between editors. pages built with Cornerstone can only be edited in Cornerstone. Any changes made outside of Cornerstone editor will be discarded when you try to edit the page back in Cornerstone. The cornerstone data may have been corrupted which is why it is no longer editable.

if you happen to copy a text codes from other pages or WP installation and inserted to your new page, it will still not work and again will not allow you to edit the page in Cornerstone. All those text codes will just be discarded and you will be given with a blank slate. You may need to create the page from scratch instead.
