BuddyPress mentions autocomplete not working with Pro

I am trying to get BuddyPress to work on my site and unfortunately some key features aren’t functioning properly. One of them is the @ mentions autocomplete. It works if I switch back to 2019 so I know it’s the theme. I’ve tried both the BuddyPress Legacy and Nouveau themes, same result.

Is there a known issue or way to resolve this? I’m using the Integrity stack, no other plugins or theme customizations.

Hello @bhamrick,

Thanks for writing in! There is no known issues like that. We do not modify major features of any plugins. There could be a conflict or a JS error in your site which maybe the @ mentions do not. Would you mind providing us the url of your site with login credentials so we can take a closer look?

To do this, you can create a secure note with the following info:
– Link to your site
– WordPress Admin username / password

To know how to create a secure note, please check this out: https://theme.co/apex/forum/t/how-to-get-support/288

Thank you.

I just added a secure note with login details for a small test site. If I have Twentynineteen enabled autocomplete works posting an update on the Activity page. If I enable Pro it doesn’t work anymore.

Hi @bhamrick,

It is working when I check on your site:

Please check if you do have browser extension that maybe blocking the function.
