Bottom Footer changes

How do I get rid of the “Assign a menu” text at the bottom footer? (see pictures)
Also how do I format or edit this? I searched and can’t find the editing section for this. Even disabled bottom footer in settings and yet it still stays there. I’d like to do more in it, but can’t find a way to edit it. I only saw the edit box to where I can add a hyperlink such as “IMPRESSUM” from the picture.

Hi Ivee,

Thanks for reaching out.

Please go to Theme Options > Footer and disable FOOTER MENU.

Hope this helps

Hello @Rad,
Unfortunately it did not change anything. You can see in the picture.
Also Where can I edit that area besides the Footer Content area? Just in case I want to edit those social icons or remove or add other things there.

Thank you.

Hi Ivee,

If you actually clicked save and then refresh the page it will remove the assign a menu text.

Using the X theme you can only edit the footer content area there. So what you can do is disable the footer social and footer menu then put all the content or html you want inside the footer content. For example you can add an image there:

<p> <img src="cat.jpg" > </p>

<p>POWERED BY THE <a href="//theme.co/x/" title="X &ndash; The Ultimate WordPress Theme" rel="nofollow">X THEME</a></p>

But if you really want to have more control over your footer, you might want to consider upgrading to PRO. Because PRO has this header/footer builder feature that lets you build completely custom headers and footers. Here’s a link discussing more about it https://theme.co/apex/forum/t/pro-header-and-footer-builder-introduction/103.

Hope it helps.

That worked exactly the way I needed it to. Thank you for the detailed intructions. and I’ll talk my company into looking into the theme.

You’re most welcome and glad we could help
