Blog Slider not Showing on All Pages

Hello,

We are having trouble getting the blog slider to show up on each page. We are a real estate company and use an IDX/MLS system where each time someone conducts a search or clicks on a property, they are taken to a brand new page on our website with the information.

However, in the process, the blog slider gets lost and there is a random page displayed in place of the content we have created (example: http://dwellwellca.com/homes-for-sale-details/575-6TH-AVE-405-SAN-DIEGO-DOWNTOWN-CA-92101/180064529/5/). How do we ensure the blog slider is seen on each page?

Hi Brian,

Thank you for writing in, the Ethos Posts Slider is only available on Blog and Archive pages, not on other pages and posts. Regretfully this isn’t a feature offered by X. It could be possible with custom development, but this would be outside the scope of support we can offer. You may wish to consult a developer to assist you with this. X is quite extensible with child themes, so there are plenty of possibilities.

I am concerned that we may be on different pages. Our blog slider at the top of our site shows up on ALL pages of our website. Not just blogs or archived pages. It’s on our home page, and every other page on our site. So why won’t it show up with a page is generated by a property search. The fields are there but the blog content does not populate. If you’d like, we can provide you our login and you can test it for yourself.

Thanks for updating the thread.

Do you have any scripts running that filters items on the slider as I see slider is getting displayed but items are getting filtered? Please share login details in secure note for us to take a closer look.

Prasant - I just sent the secure note with the login info. We did not put any scripts or any filters. The blogs show up on every page of our site except for when pages are generated in our real estate search system. The containers are there, but they are not populated by the blogs.

Hello Brian,

It appears that you are using an outdated version of the theme. Could you please update to the latest versions?
Our latest versions are:

  • X theme 6.3.8
  • Cornerstone 3.3.8

This latest release contains fixes for several issues so be sure to check out the changelog (http://theme.co/changelog/).

_After doing the updates, always remember to clear all caches (if you are using WP Rocket, WP SuperCache or W3 Total Cache) when updating so that the code from the latest release is always in use. This will help you to avoid any potential errors.-
