Blog Mosaic not working

Hi the formatting on the blog on Rockmanscreativemedia.com.au gets totally screwy when put into mosaic mode.
This is the format we want - please help.

We have already tried turning off plugins and clearing cache - but we still get the same error.

Hi there,

Unfortunately, the given URL/User/Pass of your website is not working and we could not access to the WordPress Dashboard.

Would you please kindly give us the correct information? Also, I checked the blog link and it is the standard mod. Is it possible that you switch to Masonry mode from X > Launch > Options > Blog Style.

Also, make sure that you set the blog listing to the page in question from Settings > Reading section.

Thank you.

Masonary basically breaks the site which is why we have it on standard (not a good look for visitors)
Please change it to masonary to trouble shoot and if not fixed return it to standard otherwise

Hi there,

Thanks for the details.

I was able to login but the user that you have provided seem to have limited access. I get the message:

Oops! Looks like you’re trying to view something you’re not allowed to access. Check your permissions in the plugin settings.

Kindly set the user as an admin user so that we could check.

Done! You now have admin access

Hi There,

I did check your site (nope I did not touch anything) and here’s a couple of issues that I saw. First your site is already in a secure protocol (https:), but some of the site’s resources are still loaded from non-secure protocol (http:) which is getting blocked by your site (https://prnt.sc/gx4rzn) resulting for some of the site functions or styling not to work.

It seems that you’re using a plugin to redirect your site from http to https, well that’s not the proper way, as I mentioned above some of the site resources are still loaded from http:

To do this, on your admin dashboard navigate to Settings > General and make sure the WordPress Address and Site Address are set to secure protocol (https:)

And then use a plugin WP Force SSL or alike to force things to load in secure protocol.

Second, you’re using an out dated Child Theme. You need to install a new child theme and move all your customization from the old child theme to new one.

Regretfully, not all your customization will carry over to X5, because those are for X4. For example the custom recent post function that is on your child theme’s functions.php file will not work in X version 5, so you need to drop that.

Another one, your custom file _brand.php that is under x-child/framework/views/global/, on the new child theme you need to put that under x-child/framework/legacy/cranium/headers/views/global/, that path is not existent on your new child theme so you need to create the folder to follow that path.

Remember to clear all caches (plugins, internal, browsers) after all this changes. This will help you to avoid any potential errors.

Hope this helps,
Cheers!

Thanks! that’s fixed - But I need to go and find all the fixes and little bits and customisations.
Is there a way I can access the old Support forum to see my old tickets - to look up the customisations?

Hi there,

The old forum topics are still visible when you search it through google but there are not linked to your Apex account.

Is this the thread that you are looking for?

No that’s for another site - these are all to do with Rockmanscreativemedia.com.au
Can you please help me with the best search strings that are likely to return these support requests?

thanks!

Try inserting your old username.

Thanks.

I have - with no luck - please give me an an example of the search string.

Hey Marcus,

Please use this keyword in Google search:

site:theme.co "Marcus R"

And you will get results like this: http://prntscr.com/h03ght
