In that case, you need to append the featured image block inside the logo container after the logo.

Please take note of the selectors in that code. This will not work for Inline Header Layout.
I would really recommend also that you to learn the parts of the code so you can adapt it for other needs. You can learn that from http://www.jquery.com/
And lastly note that this is considered as theme extension which is not a part of our support service. This should only serve as a guide. Issues that would arise from the use of this and further enhancements should be forwarded to a third party developer.
Also in the future, you might not need this because there would be a Layout Builder which will enable users to create their own archive and single post design.
