I have a couple of questions about the display of the entries. I’m on a desktop, so I can see the 3 column masonry layout.

  1. With the entry “Staff Spotlight: Natasha Cook,” I’m not seeing the “Read More” link that shows up under the other posts. When I add a more traditional paragraph of text on the post page, the link does show. Is there something in the format of the text on the post page that’s creating the issue?

  2. Why is the post Sandra Dallas showing all the way on the right side instead of the left? Is there a way to move it to the left?

Thanks for writing in! Please find the answers below, for your questions.

  1. When you add excerpts manually, it will not have read more text. Please refer to the following resource for more information (https://wpmayor.com/add-read-link-manual-excerpts/). If you want to implement such functionality, you will need to setup a child theme and activate it first by following this guide (https://theme.co/apex/forum/t/setup-how-to-setup-child-themes/57).

  2. With regard to the second issue, it should be because you don’t have much content on your manual excerpt. Could you please try adding some content, and it should fix the alignment issue.

Thank you. I’ll see how these unfold as we get more content, and good news for the first item is that I’ve already set up the child theme.
