Behavior difference in regular menu Item vs Modal Collapsed

Hi there,
yet another bug about Menu Items.

Dropdown menu Item (the one containing submenu Items) on desktop is clickable and available as a separate site (with submenu items available on hover). However on mobile in Menu Collapsed it is available only as an element to expand and click submenu Items. It is not possible to access the Item (therefore the site) on mobile, as it is only available as an expandable element.

Hope to have this fixed like VERY SOON, as menu Items containing subitems also doesn’t work in Menu Modal as stated in this topic: https://theme.co/apex/forum/t/lack-of-menus-sub-indicator-in-navigation-modal/31556

I’d prefer to use Menu Modal but I am unable due to this bug, so I had to use Collapsed and now I am unable as well

I have to say I am surprised that I am the first person to report this bug, as it is rather CRITICAL in my opinion (considering addition of the Menu Modal bug) - as users are unable to access sites containing Submenu Items on mobile.

Hey @klepow,

This is not a bug but rather a lacking feature in the Menu Collapsed element. What you described is available or is the behavior of the Classic X Menu as you can see or test in our demo http://demo.theme.co/integrity-1/.

In the past, many users requested that the menu be changed to what Menu Collapsed is now (clicking on the parent opens the submenu on mobile rather than opening the parent link).

Our development team is aware of this and in one of the succeeding updates, you might be able to choose either one of the behaviors described above.
