Been a while since updating - now page on backend is broken

Hello,
I has been a while since the client has needed me for anything and I just did the plugin update through the dashboard. When I did that, two items broke on the homepage (well the only page), and now on the backend the editor doesn’t work at all.

Any suggestions? I have two days to revert back to the last version I had if there is an upgrade path I should be following instead of jumping ahead 1.5 full versions. I was originally on 2.x.x and now 3.3.8.

It would be best to setup a staging site and do the update from there so that the live site will not be affected in case there will be any issues with the update and you will be able to do some testing.

Please remember to clear all caches when updating so that the code from the latest release is always in use. This will help you to avoid any potential errors or any unexpected display issue on the site.

Kindly also make sure that if you update X, you will also need to update Cornerstone to avoid compatibility issues.
