Background image size cover not working

For some reason our background image will not cover the entire section 1. Please assist, not sure what is going on, the settings are cover and center.

Hi there,

It seems that you are trying to add the background to the column and not the section itself. You need to go to the section settings from the layout tab:

Then you will have options to set the background for the whole section:

Its covering the section, but the section is not covering everything, there is like padding all around the section, i need the section to touch the menu bar and the edges of the entire layout

Was able to fix the issue had to change the conatiner to no header, no footer.
