Auto Validation Not Working

Hi,

I just purchased a new license of X for a client, and when trying to validate using the Envato purchase code, the box where I enter the code turns white with a small grey button in the middle and remains suspended indefinitely. There’s no text displayed or anything, the entire field goes white with that small little grey square in the middle. If I then try to navigate away, the site becomes corrupted and I get the WordPress “White Screen of Death” where I cannot access the front or back end of the site. So, then I have to uninstall WordPress altogether and try reinstalling WordPress and the X theme. Have done this 3 times now and get the same result every time - can’t validate.

Can you please tell me how to fix this issues and get the license validated? I need to get working on the build!

I tried to resolve my issue by looking into the PHP version WordPress was using on our server, but we’re already on 5.6.41, so it seems my issues is similar but different than the user I linked to above. Please help.

Thanks for writing in! Please ensure that you have meet the requirements to run WordPress and that includes the PHP version. You can check the rest of the requirements from here: https://wordpress.org/about/requirements/

If you cannot change your PHP version to at least 7.0, please contact your hosting provider. They should be able to change the version in a few clicks.

Ok. I thought 5.6 was a high enough version of PHP, but I updated to 7.0 as you suggested and I was able to validate the site without any further issues. Thank you.
