My copy of X still requires API key validation in order for me to update to the latest version. I cannot find a way to generate an API and the product license doesn’t seem to work as a replacement. How do I get an API so I can update my theme?

API keys are deprecated that’s why we recommend updating to the latest version of X so you can validate your site properly. I would recommend updating via FTP. To achieve this please follow the steps outlined here.
