Hello,
I have enabled the social icons in my header. Those have no alternative text and thus get alerts in WCAG-A reviews. Is there a way I can add an alternative text to them so this can be resolved?

The Social Icons in the header are not image so they don’t have alt text.
Can you give us the URL of your site so we could check your setup?

Thanks for the reply. Looks as I got it wrong. The complaint of the check is that there is no “link text”.

The social icons are icons links thus not displaying any text links which is default to the theme,
If you want to add texts to the icons, you will have to add a bit of customization using the child theme. You can do this by adding this code in the functions.php file of the child theme:
