Agency Home Screen Portfolio images same as portfolio page

Is there a way on the featured portfolio items on my home page to look as they do on the portfolio page?

You mean you wish to add a portfolio section in your home page similar to portfolio main page? That’s not currently possible. But I recommend using Essential Grid for displaying your portfolio, https://theme.co/apex/forum/t/extension-essential-grid/68

Not quite, the website i am working on is http://masivity.com/

The way the portfolio picture look in the Talent page (Portfolio) with the names overlaying the bottom of the photo with the dark hover affect is the same way i want them to look on the Home page of the site. Currently on the home page the text sits below the photo.

To restyle the recent posts on homepage to look similar to the portfolio posts, further CSS modifications will be required which is regretfully beyond our support scope, however I’ll share with you some tutorials and video that should make it easier for you if you decided to give it a try:
