Adding sub-titles for when users are hovering over portfolio thumbnails

Hi there! I was just looking to get a little bit of support with my portfolio site running X Theme.

Currently when I hover over portfolio images on my homepage it displays the title of that page.

Something that I’d like to be able to do is put a sub-title underneath the title, that reads from a custom field; so when I hover over a portfolio image it reads:

Line 1: Title (Title of Page)
Line 2: Sub-title (Custom Field)

Any help with this would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks for writing in!

I can tell you the file name that you need to take a look as making the changes that you are looking for falls outside the scope of support we can offer.

Under /wp-content/themes/x/framework/views/integrity/ copy content-portfolio.php to child theme under /wp-content/themes/x-child/framework/views/integrity/ and paste over here. You will have to create the necessary child folders in child theme.
