Adding excerpt to classic recent posts

Hi there,

I tried following this solution but it no longer works. I’m not interested in using a third-party plugin- I’d like it to output via the Cornerstone element.

Is that possible?

Thanks for posting in.

Unfortunately, that’s only doable with shortcode and not as Cornerstone Element.

Then you’ll have to add it as shortcode [x_recent_posts] in your cornerstone’s text element.
